WHAT IS RSSP?
RSSP is a global security service providing sign in and online transaction security for online services. End users use the service with RSSP keys, which comes as a smartphone app or a USB key. The users can manage their RSSP keys using the RSSP website. RSSP user can have multiple RSSP apps and keys on his account, and lock lost apps and keys to prevent misuse. Some services might integrate RSSP keys into their own apps or provide branded USB keys.
WHAT CAN RSSP DO?
RSSP can prevent unauthorized use of usernames and passwords. The so called 2-step verification or 2-factor authentication verifies the user during login. Similarly RSSP can prevent unauthorized transactions or user account changes by verifying the user real-time when transactions happen. Some services also allow their users to use RSSP to sign in without passwords at all, providing the greatest level of user convenience.
The service providers can select their own policies and offer the user verification operations like:
- Verify user when they sign in from new IP or device
- Verify user when they change their account
- Verify user every time they login
- Verify transactions (purchase, sell, trade, etc)
- Allow login without a password
- Allow easy new user registration with RSSP
WHAT MAKES RSSP BETTER THAN USERNAME AND PASSWORD?
Usernames and passwords are hard to manage, insecure and there’s just too many of them. Single sign-on services based on username and password don’t really fix the security issues. Storing your usernames and passwords into a central storage still leaves you vulnerable to the phishing attacks.
RSSP does not use or store usernames and passwords. We believe that any solution based on usernames and passwords is obsolete, difficult to use and too easy to break.
RSSP is based on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). This is a similar system which governments and big enterprises use to maximize secure authentication of their closed services. RSSP does the same in the public internet.
RSSP makes passwords obsolete. Each RSSP app has a private key identifying the device. You control the access to the app with your chosen pin code. You are authenticated with something you have and with the one optional secret you remember. If your RSSP device is lost or stolen, lock the app at RSSP website.
DOES RSSP USE AND STORE MY EXISTING USERNAMES AND PASSWORDS?
No, RSSP does not use or store any of your usernames and passwords. Further, RSSP itself does not require username and password. RSSP stands for zero passwords.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO USE RSSP?
RSSP app is available for iOS and Android devices. You don’t need any specific software for the PC or Mac.
Since we do not rely on usernames and passwords, even public computers can be used safely.
WHAT SERVICES CAN I LINK TO RSSP?
RSSP works with services who integrate to our backend. Those services typically promote RSSP at their login page and in the user settings, where the actual linking of your RSSP key takes place.
WHAT BROWSERS DOES RSSP SUPPORT?

- Safari latest releases
-
Mac OS X:
